“Unfortunately it rained hard while I was there, and power went out briefly. The service in bar is not good, and there is not a decent lunch restaurant in the hotel, Bstheoom lighting insufficient. Overall okay. ”

“When you book at a Doubletree by Hilton the name alone should provide you with a peace of mind that your accommodations and stay will be up to par. Not in this instance. Because I booked through a 3rd party vendor I was given one of their bottom of the barrel rooms. It was at the very end of a floor on which we had to walk a very long way up extra stairs and pass a lot of areas where repairs were being done. If you have luggage it’s difficult to navigate. The floor was dingy and the lighting dark. When I finally got to the room it was not the cleanest. There was dirt on the floor which was not properly swept or cleaned and there was mold/dirt in all the crevices in the shower and shower head. Some repairs had been done to walls that were half painted and looked bad. TV remote didn’t work and I couldn’t control the TV even using the buttons on the television itself. They do not have enough plugs in the room leaving only one place to plug in the iron in an area that is a tight squeeze. If this is the way all 3rd party booking guests are treated I will not utilize this brand hotel ever again. Beware if booking through a 3rd party you may walk away very dissatisfied. Doubletree by Hilton please do better!”

“Nice Hotel with many things to do around the area. If you looking to travel in the evening I recommend walking as the taxi/uber/lfyt is very crowded and a lot of traffic jams. It's Miami so everyone wants to come out and play.”
