“The staff was always so kind and helpful. The location is a nice area, there’s just a ton of construction so it’s not pretty to look at. My favorite part of our stay is the complimentary breakfast! It’s not like your typical hotel breakfast. It’s cooked fresh and there’s tons of options. There’s also a happy hour in the evenings with free drinks (alcohol included) and snacks. It’s a nice touch to your stay, for sure. We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. My only bad thing to say is the cleanliness. Our room wasn’t vacuumed and I noticed other things which just makes me uncomfortable. However I brought it up to hotel staff and someone vacuumed while we left for a couple of hours. ”

“Our stay was nice and quiet. We checked in late on Friday night. The young lady at the front desk was not be try welcoming. We were given four water bottles upon arriving. The room was spacious but needed more cleaning. The restroom floor had hairs and the toilet was slightly stained. ”

“Our vehicle was broken into the first night we stayed there, nothing was stolen because nothing was in there but the staff did not really seem to care. They filled out a report and said that the hotels insurance company would be contacting us, which hasn't happened yet. Also, they have no security cameras in the parking lot, but said they had a security guard on duty that night...obviously that guard wasn't watching anything. We were literally parked right in front of the hotel that was well lit and they still had time to break the lock on my driver side door. The room was very nice and clean and the breakfast was not so great.”

“Nestled in a major "shopping, dining and entertainment" area, this hotel is also conveniently located about a mile from the six flags amusement park. The hotel is partnered with the Courtyard and they share a courtyard and a pool. There is very little in the way of amenities at the Residence but the courtyard does have a "cafe" that serves alcoholic beverages, Starbucks drinks, snacks and a limited amount of bar food such as wings. The staff at both locations are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the Residence was decent enough and should cover just about every food type at a basic level. The rooms are decent however if you want to maintain that image do not use a blacklight. The linens and towels were clean as well as the kitchen and bathroom. The only bummer was that the room lacked a K-cup machine but it still has a brew style coffee machine. The kitchenette has enough to get the basic cooking done but don't plan on making a high end meal. Overall the place is a win. Definitely in the three star category. Good for families and other visitors that might need a kitchen.”
