“Great location and the cheapest we could find in expensive Seward. We stayed in the old part of the hotel but beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. Sometimes had a bit of a wait for the shared bathrooms. Staff could have given us a bit more info about shuttle services around town.”

“We came here two days before our cruise. This is a great location. John, the owner went out of his way to provide free transportation for us. They have a nice little coffee ship on site. We were there in September so the restaurant across the street was closed but that is suppose to be a agreat place to eat. Black bear and Moose in the parking lot. Room was comfortable and you have a great kitchen.”

“The room had not been cleaned well. There was debris on the floor in the main room (not vacuumed) and long black hairs on the floor in the bathroom. There was also short black hairs on sink and a brown smudge on inner toilet seat lid. There was black debris between sheets towards the foot of the bed. Peeling paint. Black mold in hallway. Too bad, because it has such potential. Beautiful antiques, stained glass windows and many historical photos. I also must add that the staff was very nice.”
