“The hotel doesn't provide a correct location ( it's on the top of the hill) & the road to the hotel is very tight, with a lot of speed bumps & has such a slope that it does not allow cars towing heavy trailers or caravans to climb. But when you face a problem to reach this hotel, the staff recommends you "to translate the name of the hotel" instead of support & understanding. Unfortunately, I booked this hotel for my husband on 05/07 at 18:00 but at 23:00 I had to inform the hotel that he could't come physically or technically because in 2km to the hotel his car got seriously damaged ( he was driving a strong car with full loaded trailer but it was impossible to reach this hotel & also to turn back). Finally, we got a huge trouble how to solve the problem with evacuation, the hotel charged 100% & totally refused any other solution, my husband after 16h driving had to spend a night in the car. Apart from that, in my communication with hotel was offered a permanent business cooperation (our company opens a new site in Sundsvall) & our engineers has to visit Sundsvall often & to have accommodation but the hotel refused this offer as well which let me think that they are totally interested in one-time & permanent customers. Of course it's absolutely pity position & attitude but for sure to get understanding, support, respect , getting solution in this or that inconvenient situation, professional attitude are not about this hotel, as I see the target is to catch a quick & easy money. (I am able to make an opinion about professionalism or not because I worked more than 15 years in travel & hospitality fields on key positions & I know how it works internally.) ”

“Quiet at night, so quality sleep is possible. Unmanned reception and locked doors at night is a bit strange for me, but I guess this is getting to be the norm. Breakfast was good. Wifi worked. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful as needed. I can't think of anything that I didn't like that would cause me to not stay there in the future. My reason for staying here could be useful. Driving test at Trafikverket, which is barely 1 km away. If you need to do the driver's license test, hang out here for a couple days, chill out, check out the roads, do your test and be happy. People in Sundsvall are friendly. Recommended!”

“The staff Nikos and Stefan in bar were great the only real negative is dogs whilst staying there 3 dogs started barking at each other loudly I had to walk between them to get to lift one of them tried to attack me at stairs this is why I won't go back”

“The only reason this review made it in the positive category is because of Desi in the restaurant/bar. Had it not been for her excellent service and positive attitude, this hotel would be a bust. A bust because of the clogged drain in the shower - and the poor shower design and size. Water everywhere in an already small space with the dirty backed up clogged drain. Disgusting. When I mentioned it at check out the guy acted like it was a regular occurrence and just said, next time tell us and we’ll change your room! Needless to say, there will not be a next time. ”
