“Nice hotel, the room was exceptional. Lobby and dining room were very nice, but they ran out of food about midway through the breakfast period. The one staff member was visiting with friends rather than keeping up with the food needs.”

“Had booked non smoking room. But got smoking room. Smelled very bad. Roaches and insects were present. Cigarette buds were lying around in the room. In another room, it smelled like someone had peed there, was visible on the carpet as well. ”

“I booked while coming out of Big Bend National Park, planning to return to the park the following day. It was already dark. I expected the room would be bare bones. It was not. It was great. Every convenience. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, iron, easy chair, comfortable bed, nice carpet, tv, good shower... And, clean!”

“Room was clean, but bathtub did not drain. Told the manager about it the second day (out of 5) but nothing was done. We showered in 5 inches of dirty water for the rest of our stay. House keeper did not speak English and our room was not cleaned for the 5 days. The hotel housed road worker crews who drank, partied, and played loud music late. They were two doors down from us. After calling the front desk and complaining about the music, it finally stopped. The next morning the parking lot was full of beer cans. If the manager knew that the crew would be there, they should have put other guests in different part of hotel. Breakfast area had two tables--not nearly enough. Won't stay there again.”
